BANANAS FLAMBÉED IN BUTTER AND BROWN SUGAR TOPPED WITH DECADENT WHITE CHOCOLATE.
Our ode to the classic New Orleans dessert. Bold banana flavor meets rich, buttery brown sugar. And that silky sweet finish? That’s our creamy white chocolate drizzle, creating the perfect bite. Let your sweet tooth go bananas!
Bananas Foster originated in New Orleans in the early 1950’s when Owen Brennan, owner of Brennan’s Restaurant, challenged his chef to include bananas in a new dessert to promote the popular imported fruit from South America. The final, flambéed delicacy was named for Richard Foster, the chairman of the New Orleans Crime Commission and a friend of Owen Brennan. Today, Bananas Foster is served at Brennan’s and other restaurants throughout New Orleans.
